Socks That Rock! * Hard Rock *
12th pair of the year! Short Row Heel and Toe! Did nothing but knit the sock! Didn't plan the strips they just happened on both all by themselves! Don't you just love em when they do it on their own!
Pretty much followed Mustang Sally's info below. Started with 36 each side and moved on to add 2 on instep side when toe area is done. Left 14 for toe center. Then worked 100 rows until I got to heel. Worked heel with 10 left in center. Added 2 more on heel to 38 each side for thick ankles. Worked 38 rows straight knitting and K4P1 for 10 rows and bind off. I used the crazy heel and toe bind off. It is one of my favorites. Needle was 2.5m (1 1/2) knit picks. Would you believe I have not checked the gauge on either one of the Blue Moon Socks I have made. I just guessed at what they should be and it worked out great. That doesn't happen often believe me.
I could have done 2 more rows per sock but that would have been it.
