Cherry Tree Hill Northern Lights Finished!

Needle 2.25mm
Cast on 84 short row toe and heel! My favorite to knit!
Finished 11/17/07
These are a darker color in person. They are a pair even if you can only see one! They are beautiful! Cherry Tree Hill is my very favorite yarn to work with. Next is Lorna's and then Opal. I am talking about the feel as I am knitting. I love Opal not for the feel but for the way they last. They do soften up after several washes. I also like not knowing for sure what they will look like until they are done. My favorite Opal's are all the Rainforest Collections. Cherry Tree Hill is a joy to work with and a joy to wear. I would wear nothing but if I could afford it. These are for me, me, me! I think this pair brings me to a grand total of 3 for me! I am going to do a count on all the socks I have done in the past 3 years and see how many. Let you know at a later date.

Lorna's Laces Country Christmas finished!

Someone else is trying these on for the picture! Not the MAMA!

Another of the 5 is done. Mom picked the yarn for these out of my stash. When she comes and checks the toe on one then they can go home with her. I have already taken the toe area apart 2 times to get it perfect. Too short, too long~That is what happens when I try and work on socks when I am sick. Now, it should be just right. I am counting on it fitting this time since i finished it up. The rest of the sock areas on both fits perfect. They are both snug one just a little more than the other.
These are 2 different socks making up the pair. The difference here is the cast on.
Left sock is a cast on of 84 with a 2.25mm needle
Right sock is a cast on of 74 with a 2.25mm needle
Heel flap is a pattern that I got from a book. Must look it up again for name.
