Colinette Jitterbug color Dusk #77 Finished

You can see the differences more in the first picture. It had a lot of darker green spots that the other part of the hank didn't have so it did a spiral. The rest had more pink colors which is very pretty but doesn't match either.

Started 11/25/07
Finished 12/06/07

Cast on 76
Short row toe and heel
Needle 2.5mm

14 toe and 10 heel

Would change cast on to 72 if there was ever another pair.

I only had this one Jitterbug and am not sure I would ever buy another. I loved the feel and the way it knitted up. Would have liked it even more if there was a little more of the yarn in each hank. Knitted toe up to use as much as I had. Have washed and worn the socks twice and love them. Cherry Tree Hill still runs in first place over this yarn.

There was a knot in this Jitterbug and the colorway changed considerably. So, my socks look like they came from two different colorways.

The color stayed true when washed in the machine with wool wash and warm water. I was very happy about that.

The change in colorway was the most disappointing thing of the whole experience with Jitterbug. It wouldn't have been so bad if the color stayed the same after the knot. Good thing I was making them for me and not someone who wouldn't wear them if they didn't match.
